I'm selling my Seat Leon 5F, which I've had for about 5 years.

The car was always very well maintained and regularly maintained by me. After the purchase, he was privately supervised and went to the workshop only for larger repairs. It was always treated with care and washed only by hand.

Technically, the car is in a good and reliable condition. In particular, the complete DSG mechatronics was replaced by an original SEAT spare part in 2024 and in 2025 it still received a new toothed belt.

Maintenance & repairs

Since 2023, the Leon gets an oil change every 10,000 km. Due to a slightly increased oil consumption, Addinol Superlight 5W-40 was converted. Since then, consumption has been around 200 ml to 1,000 km.

In 2021 the car was bought at Autoland in Schwerin. A new turbocharger was also installed there in 2021.

In 2024 there were unfortunately problems with the DSG. First, the pressure accumulator was renewed for about 600. Unfortunately, a short time later the complete DSG mechatronics has failed. This was then replaced by an original SEAT mechatronic. The repair had a value of 2,600 .

Since the exchange of mechatronics, the DSG has worked without problems and the car is driving reliably.

In 2025, the car has received a new toothed belt worth 500 . This was changed in a precautionary manner, as it has not reached the kilometers yet, but the toothed belt was 10 years old.

Damage/Hagelschaden

In May 2024, Leon was badly damaged in a hailing event in front of our house.

The hail damage was not repaired because the existing money was instead invested in the new DSG mechatronics.

The damages are mainly located on the entire roof. Unfortunately, the damage on mobile phone photos is difficult to show reasonably, with a visit you can look at it in peace.

Otherwise, the car has a few smaller scratches and rockets, but not really worth mentioning things.

Other damages or damages are not known to me. The hail damage is, of course, disclosed on sale.

All in all, Leon has accompanied me very reliably over the last five years. Apart from the unique DSG failure, he never abandoned me.

I would like to sell the car honestly and therefore give both the repairs carried out and the hail damage transparently.
