Handicapped self-driven conversion / EDAG wheelchair loading system

The VW Passat Variant has an extensive disabled self-driver/active driver conversion with EDAG wheelchair loading system.

The conversion includes:

Hand control for gas and brake with tetra handle removable triangular steering wheel strongly reduced electric steering force to about 10 N removable pedal cover for gas and brake pedal electrically actuated hand/hold brake individually adapted selector lever additional switch unit on the handheld control unit for windshield wipers, horn, dipped beam and warning indicator additional or ergonomically adapted operating elements electric driver seat adjustment before/back Safety pants strap for additional upper body fixing foldable and individually padded overseat/transfer aid for transfer between wheelchair and driver seat EDAG wheelchair loading system for suitable folding wheelchairs electric sliding door rear left Possibility to open/close from wheelchair Rear flashlights Thermo Top C Water heater Keyless motor start protective strips or Protective film in the left entry area

The vehicle is thus designed in particular for independent use by a wheelchair user: transfer from the wheelchair to the driver's seat via the existing transfer aid and subsequent stowing of a suitable folding wheelchair via the EDAG loading system.

Certain folding wheelchair dimensions are provided for the wheelchair loading system according to the rear-mounted supports, including up to about 920 mm overall height and about 330 mm width in the folded state.
